Satan (2421m)

The highest peak on the ridge between Mengusovska and Mlynicka valley with amazing views. According to legend, it is one of the peaks guarding hidden treasures and precious metals, where during Midsummer Night meets devils.

From Štrbské pleso to Mlynická Valley around waterfall Skok to Kozie lake. From there traverse over west wall and then to the summit. Technical lightweight route suitable also for less experienced. An alternative could be crossing the ridge Patria, Malá and Veľká Bašta.

Technically easy winter climb. Identical ascent from Mlynická valley than in the summer, but completely different experience. Descent the same way or travers to Patria peak and back to Mlynická valley.
